Yelp for Business App App Reviews

In the world of competitive business , one who does well another business owner in the same field puts up reviews to destroy locally businesses. There are no checks and balances. Currently there is an absolute issue where I live that a owner of another business has made it public to the locals and he has reviewed many businesses that he competes with under a fake name. The thing is that is on employees know his Yelp handle and its a small town and its gotten out. Yelp want remove his reviews or take him off Yelp. Even if you contact Yelp to inform them they dont do anything. Yelp is a small business destroyer and they need to go away . Im thinking about just getting rid of my account for my business and bashing Yelp on other social media outlets . Its time for a change and they need to go.

Yelp is a money grab! They kill the small business. This company should be shut down!

If I could give it a zero I would!!! Was unaware of the $510 fee to get out of a service that arent guaranteed clients, was unaware of the automatic payout they take from your account... I highly recommend that upon you receiving any phone call from yelp...RUN!

I never write reviews, but Im so disgusted with yelp. The only way to be on the top and to see all of your review is to pay for everything they offer. They even charge you to move your pictures around. I totally agree with all the other negative reviews.

My business has been open for just over 4yrs. 300 plus reviews and average 4.5 out 5 stars. Great tool for small business!

Just started using Yelp for biz. Seems oddly cheap they dont have app for iPad yet.

Yelp discourages fans of business and encourages negative feedback. They remove anything they deem as too good to be true when that business is usually the main reason that person even got on Yelp to begin with. I think Yelp thinks businesses need them when its the opposite Yelp needs businesses.

They keep only bad reviews If you want to give donation they are ready to take it. its start from 600$ and up

I love going on Yelp and looking for great reviews, so as a new business owner I set up my account. Quickly a representative contacted me and asked if I wanted to pay for advertising, I said no because I couldnt afford it. At this time I was excited I already received 4 reviews, but just after a week of declining to purchase the Yelp Ads, Yelp took my reviews down. Reviews from Real People help, but not when they are hidden, my page will easily get skipped or not noticed. Very disappointed, how many more reviews will they hide from small business owners? The app is fine, it updates you when you get a review, but then you look and its hidden! :/

or lured to signing up with this unscrupulous business. You get NOTHING out of it and fees always hit the max. I am a small business owner and this really hurt my bottom line. Chalk it up to a tax deduction... Dont get it!!

For at least 2-3 weeks since I noticed the app will not allow me to login. It keeps saying "somethings wrong with Yelp right now. We are working on it". Wow how long is it going to take to fix it??? When it did work it was fine.

The app has been super helpful but there is a notification that wont go away. going to guess its a problem with the app itself.

I should have read all the negative reviews before I signed up with them. Want more proof just check out the BBB and youll see thousands of complaints against Yelp. Still not convinced? Call you credit card company and ask them how many of their customer block yelp from running their credit cards. All Im going to say is I should have checked the reviews before I signed up with Yelp.

I signed up with Yelp theyvtold me by business percentage up 2000 percent only calls I got off Yelp was from other advertisers oh and someone tryin sale me 285000 crane do your self favor stay as far away from Yelp as possible better yet run like hell

The owner and I are trying to manage our company from different locations. Yelp has made it impossible for co-owners to SIMPLY use/share an account. With no customer service and no way to contact, I believe Yelp has created a damaging business for all startup and long existing companies. Shame on Yelp for creating a business for people and young companies that purely excludes the same folks it intends to help. Many fixes needed. Disgusted.

Yelp Customer Service should be investigated for promoting fraud and interfering with legitimate businesses... They sanction untrue reviews, comments, and tips. They are nothing but new age digital gangsters !!! They deserve a class action lawsuit to terminate their business and sanction each and everyone of their drone employees and associates.

Im very happy with Yelp and glad to have an app that guides customers to the right places. But Ive always wanted for Yelpbusiness to have the ability to change hours such as "closed early" "family emergency closed" "death in the family closed until further noticed" and so forth. Again Im very happy with yelps page but would love to have this option on there so our customers dont waste there time driving to our facilities and not be open due to unknown circumstances. Google business just added a similar feature. Thank you for your time.

Yelp has continued to let false reviews be the forefront of their company. They do NOTHING even if you prove the review was posted by "competition". I have one negative review and MANY positive reviews, but they only post the one negative review. DO NOT USE YELP!!
